In 1800's San Antonio, chili vendors would sell freshly-cooked chili from shanties around the square they called "chili parlors". Irresistible aroma drew whole families, and taking the family to a 'parlor' became a big event. We picked up on that, we like parties. And just like way back in the day, friends and family will come a callin’ once they smell and taste The Devils Own Chili.
We use only the finest ingredients and such to make the best chili anywhere. All you need to do is add the beef, broth and tomato sauce, and you’re all set (see "The Recipe"). This is important. If you don’t get the right stuff, all the hard work we put into making this recipe will be shot to hell.
