- Erick WagnerAug 1, 2024, 15:54Adds a nice southwestern flavor to most anything. I use it when sauteing poblano peppers and bell peppers for cheesy hashbrowns. Mesquite has a tar component to it so even non-stick pans can become a mess over time. I recommend wiping the pan down with dry and wet paper towels and then I use Dawn soap, water (not a lot), salt and baking soda with a plastic bristle brush to keep the pans clean.
