Halo del Santo

In the spring of 2010, my brother Matt and I traveled to Jalisco--the Mexican state celebrated from the Río Bravo to the Yucatán for its mariachis, its soccer players, and its tequila.

Near the end of a day of sipping our way through the distilleries of the town of Tequila, we were served a margarita rimmed with a combination of salt, chile, and lime. I loved it instantly.  

Halo del Santo ("Saint's Halo") is our all-natural blend of kosher salt, fiery chile, and tart citrus. It took us nineteen iterations to get exactly right, and we're so proud of the final result. We use ingredients worthy of a top-shelf, craft cocktail, so the spicy, salty, and sour notes are bright, clean, and lively. Taste a Halo rim once, and you won't want plain salt on your glass again.
