Keith McNew spent years developing his Chihaba mixers, salsas, rubs and spices based on the home cooking he grew up with in South Texas.

Over the years, Keith ate at restaurants all across the Rio Grande Valley, from Rockport to San Antonio, and Rosenberg to El Paso, where he came to love the flavors of South Texas cooking. By the time he was in his twenties, Keith began experimenting with spices, herbs, and peppers, creating seasonings for Barbeques and cook-offs.
