The Texas Blend is a medium spicy version of the original Gordon's Spiced Pepper. It is a blend of Indian Malabar black pepper, blended in a secret Texas way by Gordon's Pepper Company. Then we add a greater amount of chile and cayenne pepper to spice the blend up and deliver a more Texas style taste.

Like all our blends, there are no vegetables mixed in, no sugars added, and no chemical additives to alter the natural pepper tastes. Texas Blend is often used as a dry rub for chicken and pork barbeque. It adds both a black pepper coating and a chile flavor kick to the meats. Try it on something as simple as a baked potato to taste the difference our pepper makes. It's just good pepper, y'all.
